Hi, Bot
Hi, Bot
For parents · hibot.space · Richmond, VA

While other kids are consuming AI, yours will be building with it.

Hi, Bot is an after-school program where middle and high schoolers learn to work alongside AI — building apps, solving real problems, and launching actual projects. Small cohorts, max 10 kids, with a dedicated mentor. Most kids leave with something they built. Some leave with something they launched.

What it is

  • A physical space in Richmond, VA — not a screen-time subscription.
  • Weekly sessions guided by mentors who actually build with AI.
  • Four zones: AI Arena, Build Studio, Robotics & Physical AI, AIPreneurship Lab.
  • Ages 8–16. Drop-in memberships + 12-week intensive cohorts.
  • After-school programs, weekend workshops, summer camps, birthday parties.

What your kid walks away with

  • A finished project — app, robot, product, or pitch.
  • Fluency working alongside AI tools, not just using them.
  • The habit of finishing and showing your work.
  • AIPreneurship Lab graduates leave with a launched product, pitch deck, and real feedback — a college application differentiator.
  • Confidence that comes from building real things, not completing worksheets.

Middle school (ages 10–13)

Thinking about high school, standout activities, and career readiness? Hi, Bot is where your kid builds the portfolio that sets them apart — not a participation trophy, an actual shipped product.

High school (ages 14–16)

AIPreneurship Lab is 12 weeks toward a real launch: app, pitch deck, investor feedback. That's a college essay, an internship conversation opener, and proof they can ship.

Younger builders (ages 8–10)

Less career, more curiosity. The goal here is simple: a place where your kid feels at home with technology instead of intimidated by it. Memberships and birthday-party workshops are the best first step.

How memberships work

  • Single Builder — $185/mo · one zone, weekly sessions, all open-shop hours, founding-member pricing locked.
  • Family — $295/mo · up to 3 kids, any two zones, priority cohort placement, showcase tickets.
  • Cohort (12-week intensive) — $1,200 · weekly + mentor 1:1s, public final showcase, capstone artifact.
  • Builder Fellowship — full tuition for families who need it. 1–3 seats reserved per cohort. Not a marketing line. The spine.
Online in 2026

No physical clubhouse this year

The library is live now. A physical space is not opening in 2026. Waitlist members lock founding-member pricing for whenever in-person exists.

What actually converts parents

  • Another parent who tells you about it.
  • Watching a 13-year-old pitch their startup idea at demo night.
  • A free Saturday workshop — one session and they're in.
  • 2 spots left in the Fall cohort.

› Schools aren't doing it. YouTube tutorials aren't doing it. Coding camps feel outdated. Hi, Bot is the first thing built for this exact moment — kids who will be ready for a future most adults don't understand yet.
