How a build runs
Week 0
Scoping call
Thirty minutes. What you teach now, who's in the room, what the calendar looks like, and what has to be true for this to count as a win. You leave with a written scope and a fixed quote — no charge, no obligation.
Week 2
Outline + one real lesson
Before anyone commits to a full build, you get the unit outline and one complete, teachable lesson. Run it with actual kids. If it doesn't land, we revise the approach — or you walk, and you keep the lesson.
Weeks 3–8
Build
The full package gets written: lessons, slides, handouts, assessments, materials lists, and facilitator notes. You see it in pieces as it lands, not as one giant delivery at the end.
Term 1
Pilot with support
Facilitator training before you start, then office hours through the first run. We're on the hook while the adults find their footing.
After the pilot
Revision + handoff
One revision pass based on what actually happened in the room — the lesson that ran twenty minutes long, the activity that flopped, the one they wouldn't stop talking about. Then it's yours to run.
Questions we get
Who owns what we build?
You get a perpetual, non-exclusive license to the materials we build for you — teach them forever, adapt them, print them, hand them to next year's teacher. Hi, Bot keeps the underlying library and methods we brought to the project. If you need exclusivity or full assignment, say so on the scoping call and we'll price it.
Do kids need AI accounts?
No. Every unit ships with a path that requires no student accounts and no personal data — including fully screen-free versions for younger learners. Where a lesson does use a live model, it runs through a facilitator-driven or shared-device setup. See our safety page for the full stance.
What if our internet or devices are unreliable?
Tell us on the scoping call and we build to your actual conditions. A large share of the library is unplugged by design — the concepts behind how AI works turn out to teach beautifully with paper, dice, and index cards.
Can you align to our state standards?
Yes. Send us the standards document and we'll produce a crosswalk showing which lesson hits which standard, plus the ISTE Standards for Students where you need them. That crosswalk is what your curriculum director actually reads.
Do you deliver the instruction too?
If you want us to. Commission & administer puts background-checked Hi, Bot facilitators in your building at a 1:6 ratio and hands you the rostering, grading, and reporting. Most districts start with a build-only engagement and add delivery in year two.
How small is too small?
Not small at all. The family plan exists for one household with three kids. A single homeschool parent commissioning a semester is a completely normal engagement here.
Can we see something before we commit?
Yes, and you should. The free printables library and the AI Foundations course are the real product — go run one with your kids this week. The scoping call and the sample lesson are both free.
