LED matrix driven by a microcontroller

Wire a single-color 8×8 LED matrix module to a microcontroller and light it pixel by pixel from a grid of numbers. A small board such as the Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-S3 Sense can drive it; a full-color matrix needs its own power supply.
